# Validation Plan v1

## Goal

Validate whether users want an AI-powered Life RPG enough to join a waitlist, comment with use cases, and eventually test/pay.

## Core validation questions

1. Which audience reacts strongest: gamers, ADHD/productivity, self-improvement, or AI users?
2. Which hook works best: RPG, AI Game Master, boss fights, stats, or habit tracker replacement?
3. Do people sign up, or only say “cool idea”?
4. Do users describe their own real use cases?
5. Which visual direction earns the strongest response?

## Assets to launch first

- Landing page: `landing/index.html`
- App screen board: `mockups/app-screens.html`
- 3 rendered short videos in `videos/`
- 10 scripts and social posts in `content-pack.md`

## Channels

### Organic-first

- TikTok / Reels / Shorts
- X/Twitter
- Threads
- Reddit/community posts
- Indie Hackers / build-in-public

### Paid test later

Budget: **$200–500** only after first organic assets are ready.

## Success thresholds

| Metric | Weak | Good | Strong |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Landing conversion | <5% | 8–15% | >15% |
| Waitlist cost | >$8 | $2–8 | <$2 |
| Video comments | “cool” only | asks questions | asks for beta/pay |
| Saved/shared videos | low | visible saves | repeated shares/saves |
| Community response | ignored | discussion | users request access |

## Decision gates

Build MVP if any of these happen:

- 300+ waitlist users in early validation.
- One channel/message has clear pull.
- People ask for beta access unprompted.
- Comments reveal a narrow but urgent use case.

Pivot if:

- People like the fantasy but not the daily usage.
- AI Game Master is more compelling than RPG mechanics, or vice versa.
- ADHD/productivity reacts better than gamers.

Pause/kill if:

- No signups.
- Mostly novelty comments.
- No one can explain when they would use it.

## Weekly operating cadence

Monday:
- Pick hypotheses and content angles.

Tue–Thu:
- Publish/test content.
- Reply to useful comments.
- Record objections/user language.

Friday:
- Analyze metrics.
- Choose winners/losers.

Weekend:
- Produce next batch from winning hooks.
